"Charged" Chevrolet Camaro will appear in 2011

Company General Motors has made decision to begin a batch production of the most powerful updating of coupe Chevrolet Camaro — Z28.

As informs site Camaro5 referring to several top-managers of a motor-car manufacturer, on the conveyor such car will rise after the open version which release will begin spring of 2011. We will notice, that working out Z28 is already finished, however earlier the concern did not have means for end of tests, operational development and model start in a series.

As it was informed earlier, under a cowl "charged" Camaro there will be an eight-cylinder 6,2-litre engine with the mechanical supercharger, developing 556 h.p. and working together with a six-step mechanical or automatic transmission. It is expected, that with such power-plant of a coupe it can be dispersed from zero to 96 km/h for 3,9 seconds and pass a mile quarter approximately for 12 seconds.

The most powerful version Chevrolet Camaro will receive a new cowl with the big air inlet, executed in style of "cine" car Bumblebee from the second part of a film «Transformers», other lattice of a radiator, 20-inch wheel disks, a new back spoiler and, probably, any drawings on a body, like "racing" strips.

It is expected, that Camaro Z28 it will be made by the limited circulation, however the exact number of copies is not specified yet.
